Entertaining in Basement Bars

Adding a basement bar is a fun addition to a renovated space, providing a great area for entertaining family and friends.

Just like any room in your house, a basement bar design should reflect your personal style. A few tips that really make your bar the place to hangout:

  • Set the mood with a lighting design that gives the bar a soft glow.
  • Line bar shelving with wine glasses, crystal, and top shelf wine and spirits.
  • Select paint colors that will accent the bar’s rich design, like red, ivory or a deep purple.
  • Invest in a poker or pool table, air hockey or even arcade games to give the bar area a fun feel.

The Parker’s had the right idea, just look at what they did!
